Ok, so my husband, who dislikes all things techy, had to take the plunge into smart phones yesterday. His old flip phone with Mobile Speak finally bit the dust and since he didn't like my Iphone, the only other Option with AT&T that had an actual keyboard was the HTC Status with Mobile Accessibility.
So far, I have found this phone to be the least intuitive phone I've ever seen. I'm about to go hunting for an accessible user guide but since I'm here, if anyone has this phone, how do we add contacts without having to dial the number and then save. Isn't there a way to manually do so?
Also, how do we completely close an app?
Oh how I wish they made affordible phones with speech that only stored contacts, made calls, and sent text messages. That's all he wants to do.
Ok, off to the net I go. Any help from anyone with this phone would be greatly appreciated.
Well, when all else fails, read the directions. lol
I'm happy to say that I found the user guide on line and it is accessible. yay.
I figured out how to add a contact. I was on the right path last night but with an 8-year-old and other distractions, I didn't get a chance to explore as deeply as I would have done on my own.
Anyway, I still need to figure out how to close open apps but other than that, it looks like this phone won't suck as much as I first thought.
